2027 fl BQ pre-season event 

We are looking forward to this year’s pre-season event! This one-of-a-kind weekend includes quizzer and coach training, fellowship, and an opportunity to connect with other quiz programs across the state. Whether you are a veteran program or looking to start a Bible Quizzing ministry in your church from scratch, you’ll leave this weekend equipped, empowered, and ready to be a part of the strongest Bible Quizzing District in the United Pentecostal Church.

DATES: October 16-17, 2026

LOCATION: FL District UPCI Campgrounds (5011 NW Gainesville Rd, Ocala, FL 34475)

REGISTRATION: $20 per person pre-registration; $30 at the door (early registration closes Sunday, October 4)

LODGING: The campground dorms will be available for $10 per bed. You must provide your own supervision and respect quiet times.

Q: Is this event open to people from outside of Florida?
A: Absolutely! We would love to have you.

Q: What session should parents attend?
A: We encourage you attend the sessions your children are attending.

Q: I have a former Junior Quizzer who is going into Seniors; which sessions should he/she attend?
A: As the “New Quizzer” session is designed for brand-new quizzers, we recommend attending the “Senior Veteran” sessions.

Q: I am a former Junior Coach who will be transitioning to Seniors; which sessions should I attend?
A: You would likely benefit more from the Senior Veteran session, as the New Coach session will be covering the basics of the program.

Q: Can we come for Saturday only? If so, what is the cost?
A: Yes, we have “Saturday only” passes available for $10.

Q: Will you be providing supervision for the Quizzers Friday night?
A. Yes; we will have a full staff of volunteers organizing games and overseeing quizzer activities.

Q: Will you be providing dorm supervision?
A. While we will have staff on site to enforce “quiet time,” you must provide your own supervision for your children/teens.
